chapo123 Posted August 24, 2010 Author Report Posted August 24, 2010 Tint alone draws attention. The radio will just be there after they're already curious. The subs might sound fine but I'm guessing your gains aren't set with a o-scope so you're probably clipping a little bit anyways and using bass boost on the amp so chance are you won't notice it. You could always install a aftermarket HU hidden under the dash or where ever is convienent for you and keep the factor radio in place. Not my idea setup but a little bit of a deterrent i think im going to go with the 360.1... all i have to do is do connect power rem and gronud and wire it into my stereo harness? then run rca off of that?? Quote Steve I don't know why but everytime I see your new paint I want a Dr. Pepper...... is this normal? heres an analogy for you. running a high power stereo without a fuse is like having unprotected sex with that hot chick at the bar with the sketchy sexual history. Sure you may be fine and nothing happens but that one time something does happen you're fucked. i dont want woofer broke like bass sound clip clip and voice coil overheat 2 sa12s, saz1500 build log http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/91183-chapo123s-sundown-build-log/page__gopid__1250604entry1250604

The 3sixty is a great option for factory integration, but go ahead and get the .2 That is all you do to hook it up, setting it up is a whole new ballgame. Jville140db Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 i dont get it it would be easier to buy an aftermarket hu and just take off the faceplate. But to each his own i guess. or how about you put a 2 way alarm on your ride i recommend the viper 5901 for sure i love mine. just think yuo are going 5 steps back to go 1 step forward. but again to each his own and the rockford piece is really nice. I think it has less to do with him being worried about someone stealing his HU and more to do with someone knowing there is anything in there at all. A faceless HU draws attention.
