saz 3000 version is kicking ass and I love it. But, if gains were set correctly could a lvl 5 handle the 4500 version? Annddd I know the "if you have to ask" shit, but Ive seen these things plugged into a wall socket and they don't blow. id rather know for sure from rusty before i save up some extra dough.

Yes in the right box with gains set correctly would work very well. You will be putting more than twice rated power though so I'm sure you would use common sense when using the volume knob.

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

^ of course. I was pretty sure it could take it if used correctly, gains set with o scope... Im gonna use this 3000 for a while, just wanting some reassurance for the future
