3 boxes tuned differently.

I saw the previous thread asking about sealed and ported together but what do you guys think about three boxes tuned differently for 3 different 12's like 32 34 and 36.

Would I get distortion?

Depends on what you have in mind but having them so close together tuned wise is pretty useless as you can do the same thing with pvc pipe of different lengths to make tuning changes at will.

Just put all 3 in the same box tuned to the same frequency, go with 34 since it's in the middle of the 3 you're suggesting.

Tuning them differently, apart from being barely audible, will result in different group delay so the wave coherence (phasing) will be all up the wa-zoo.

In other words, don't do it
