Dub7Banger
6th word. Hyundai 2004 was funnier. These newer cars seem to like to have hidden fuse boxes. See if you can't locate one of these. When I was replacing my HU, I forgot to unhook the neg on my battery and after I cut my first wire I heard a pop, didn't think too much about it, and when I was finished with it it wouldn't turn on. And to boot, the car wouldn't start! Dunno what fuse it blew but I spent like 45 minutes trying to find the hiding fuse box, but, the intrawebs will help find it faster. After I replaced a 20 amp fuse it was all good. Quote Warning, you are taking advice from a noob with 0 install experience at this point, any advice I give is strictly based on information gathered via the intrawebz and lots of forum surfing over a period of 2 months If you are considering buying a DC Level 5, do it. Don't think about it, just do it. It'll work. go to lowes get bricks wait in yard. throw said brick at vehicle. If thats me and that just happened to me Im going looking for him after that. 1. Goto lowes 2. Get some bricks 3. ??? 4. PROFIT!! Profit from everything. LOVE ideas like this. xD
kingleo
Personally I don't like using the harness from the car I always run a little lower gauge wire to power and ground especially. Eliminates any wiring issues with the factory harness. 8v fury
What brand and part number harness are you using for the car? Is it the right one for the car. I know on Kia and Hyundai sometimes there can be up two three different harness for the same car depending on the trim level of the car. I learned this from doing a couple installs on Kias and Hyundais. Quote Pushing it to the limits. Want more power.
