BlaneC
I had some trouble tonight so let me organize this since it will make it a little easier 1) I installed a aftermarket radio into my girlfriends car which is a 2002 grand am with that stupid gm harness that integrates the chime, then after about four months of running it all the sudden it stops working when the car turns on, but still works with the car on acc, It would work for a second then there was a click and it would shut off. 2) then I bought a new radio for her car hoping that would fix it, (the old one was a pos anyway and I hated it) after I installed it it was still doing the same thing, so I listened around and the thing I heard click is the fuse type part that the wires go into. As I was trying to figure out why it was doing that, the little door chime interface thing cought on fire and smoked the little thing, so now im sitting with a new radio and a 60$ piece of shit harness and nothing works, any idea on what caused this? Heres the link to which wiring harness it is http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_9904_Scosche+GM09SR+-+GM09SRB.html

bass_stalker
yeah id just trace out your power wire and memory from the factory harness and cut em out and the wire in your new wires then you can retain factory speaker wires by just tieing in you new power wires into the factory harness and harness adptor. im not sure if youd have to redo the negative/ground though JEEP BUILD PROJECT ANTIBLING.2000 jeep Cherokee.HEADUNITAlpine Cda-9886SUBSTAGE1 acendent 18" audio mayhem motor with a TI basket and tantric parts1 prototype DAT hellfire 1000.1HIGHSStockELECTRICALdb link 0 gaugeKnuconceptz Kolossus 4 gauge1 xs power d3400 under hoodBig 3 upgradeold fourwheeler build The only way to delete your SMD account is for you crawl to steve meades door step on your knees and pleade for his forgiveness and acceptance to be released...He will either grant your wishes.....or choke you with a large piece of 0 gauge and electrocute you by hooking up a solid gold DC 12k at 0.000001 ohm and 10000 volts to your eye sockets and blow your head apart You guys act like you have never clogged a toilet and ran around the bathroom frantically hoping it don't overflow.
