Rection Posted September 13, 2010 Report Share Posted September 13, 2010 we used to do that way back in the mid 90's, but we did it slightly different way. by looking at the way your doing, im guessing a line driver would be optimal to get the pre-out voltage back up since your adding so much more resistance to the signal......... have you check it with a dmm to see just how much resistance your box adds? also, playing with the pre-out grounds is like playing with fire. ie - loose amplifier ground, amp trying to ground back through rcas, dead outputs on head unit because of it.......
