I am going to be doing a direct drop in comparison between the Ascendant SMD 18 and the DC Audio LVL 5! Enough of this mine is better than yours crap this is going to be both woofers going in the same box in the same truck. Hopefully from this I will be able to give everyone an unbiased opinion on the performance of both woofers for daily and SPL applications. I will be testing 3 different sub and port configurations based on the following criteria. Config 1) Subs up port up driver side Config 2) Subs up port up passenger side Config 3) subs up port up middle Now on to the box Specs. 56.25 wide 26.75 tall 23 deep 15.74 cuft Port 8.5*20*18 tuned to 34hz This will allow 6 cuft per driver. Got the LVL 5s ordered from DWright27 today and should have them friday or next monday. Just the box build for now.
