Love this work bro, it´s an SPL setup with good looking, just remember that , carpet will drop your scores some tenths hehe, my only big concern is how much the 45´s affected your tuning, they took a lot of the internal space away, when are we gonna have some numbers??? looking forward on this, good luck!!

It was designed with those in mind . I also am concerned how much the carpet will effect the over all score, I just hope this whole effort wasn't for nothing.

Trust me hommie, that big effort will give you good results, one time i lost 0.5 dbs and another one didn´t drop my score a single tenth so don´t worry about that, ok glad to know that, those are mtx elite 4000.1 ´s ??

Box looks nice.. The seams on the sides look perfect. You have a vid on how you cut the seams to fit perfect?

if this is an spl box then you should have waited to put 45s in the corners and left the box empty until you tuned bit by bit.

Also those custom ports look good but i dont think it will work as well as smaller ports simply because you didnt flare them nearly enough. A 6" aero flares from 6" to 9 1/2" so with the same calculation in mind your 12"ers should flare out to 19" each.

Thanks for the advice, I'm new to the SPL game. We fired it up finally, and so far the scores aren't weren't what I was expected. Did a 152.7 in the kick. I'll have to figure out what to "tweak" next...

Take that carpet off the box, that is a start Also try resining the inside of the box it may help. Also how far are the ports from the back hatch?

Nice advises hommie, but he´s trying a burping machine that also looks good wich i completly understand because he has a brand, i wouldn´t worry about the carpet that much, yes i would get at least 2 gallons of resin inside the box and sand everything on the inside so it ends very smooth.

Another thing, what´s the tuning on that box and what is the frequency you are peaking? try getting things inside the box to bring the internal space down and see if you gain something, move the seats, box and everything around and you surely will gain some, also, move the box around until you find the sweet spot, only by moving the box i gained 1.5 dbs
