sub2weeker
Ok.... so here is the problem, My alternator is a 240 H/O. it charges my battery bank of 10 batts in back. it used to be just fine. but my brother over filled my power steering fluid and at a show i was giving the vehicle gas to keep the rpm up and it overflowed due to the hydroboost. And my alternator just went into perminant squak mode. so here is a list of things i have done: 1.) Sprayed all the pullies with brake cleaner 2.) Put on a new Belt 1/2in shorter 3.) Put on a new Tensioner Pully assembly 4.) used Belt dressing 5.) had my alternator guy put a new front bearing in it and still when i start it up i get a little squack but it goes away until i turn up the stereo and demand power out of it. And i have 2 runs of 4/0, not 4 guage, 4/0 directly off the alternator to the back. SO WTF????? i cant figure it out.
