Mr. Darkjustice
what do you mean you have it set at half? gain at half or you scoped your settings at half? if im not mistaken TNT isnt that great of a brand, so i would assume hes referrin to his gain. so you know OP. theres no way to set your amp 'half way' or any way to limit power just by turning the knobs. kicker warhorse excluded lol Quote Fusion With A Stetsom 4k2d on 2 DC XL 15s tuned to 31hz and Subs and ports forward The Revolution Was Not Televised But There Is This Thread(clicky) Dr Merkenstein is my 360 gamertag and my profession. Maxim
right now i have the amp setting for output at half i am running the voice coils at 2 ohms all of the amp setting are at half right now because i dont have enough power to go max on all the settings Wonderful. I'd say you're one mistake short of frying both amps and destroying your subs. I suggest you go to Radio Shack, buy a Digital Multimeter, and set your gains on your amps the right way. Here's a few links to help you on your way. Grab your test tone for your CD from here: http://realmofexcursion.com/index.php?pageid=audio_downloads Or use Decaf's 45hz tone (the one I use) found here: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/44109-decafs-screweddemo-collection/ This will get your gains set PROPERLY. Also, definitely look into upgrading your battery and doing the Big 3 before adding a capacitor. Edited September 13, 2010 by Maxim Quote wtf is lolcats? TeamHT
his gains would only be set properly if they amp does rated and not over or under, and its overrated i assumed he was running two AQ1200s.... im thinking the wiring is incorrect and so hes trying to compensate for the noob mistake by upping his gain.
