hdorre
Which 15" subs for a SAZ-3000D wired to 1 ohm nominal in a 7 cubic foot enclosure? This is for a strictly daily setup and wont probably ever see the Termlab. The poll is edited! Team_DC-Derrick
you dont have to wire down to .5... since you havent got your subs yet you can get the ohmload you want to go up to 1 ohm.. The DC Integra 3 18s to 6 15 build log Team_DC-Derrick's Youtube Team DC Audio where theres a will theres a wall....... I know what you mean. I just prefer .5 because Ill have the electrical to back it up and itll rise to about 1 ohm (where the sub is rated) On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread
ALPINE408
if you need to wire to .5 ohms you need a bigger amp why people want to go below 1 ohm is beond me its not needed i guess you like making more heat and drawing more current Have you ever had your woofers blown? It takes power to make power..lol If I go XL, ill wire down to .5. If I go with either Fi, ill do 1 ohm because I dont need all the power for them. x2 and you haven't told us what you what out of your system besides daily which is different for everyone. I want a system that'll be good for hip hop (I know its mostly dependent on the box) and sound pretty clean. What more do you wanna know? ALPINE408
Again if you need to wire to .5 ohms to get the power you need a bigger amp .5 for daily is just stupid you lose effeincy make more heat your thd gos up draw more current harder on the electronics on your amp There are even more cons to running your amp that low but what do I know only been doing this 10+ years Have you ever had your woofers blown? Thanks for trying to save me though. Ive read that the SAZ 3K is fine doing .5 daily. Im worried about 1 ohm nominal not being enough for XLs Here are MY threads abnout it being at .5 ohm. The SMD thread actually has a poll and noone said No about it being at .5 daily. Some voters may not have the same experience of you though. http://www.stevemead...age__mode__show http://www.caraudioclassifieds.org/forum/showthread.php?t=51716 On 5/8/2011 at 7:38 PM, Kranny said: On 5/8/2011 at 7:35 PM, 'Maxim' said: It hurts me inside when I read stuff like this and remember you're 15 LMFAO so true Mitsubishi 3000GT (Old Build) Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: (2) McLaren Audio MLT-2 Tweeters & (4) PRV Audio MR Series Neo 6.5" Mids Substage: 4 15" Hybrid Subs - Tantric Motors & Sundown Softies Amps: Banda 2.4D Amp (Tweets), American Bass VFL 350.4 (Mids), and (2) Ampere 3800s Electrical :Singer 260A Alt & JY Power Lithium 2005 Chevy Colorado Ext Cab Headunit: Pioneer 80PRS Frontstage: 4 PRV 700Ti Tweets & 6 10" Delta Mids on 3000wrms Substage: 6 Fi BTL 18s in a 4th Order Walkthrough on 3 Wolfram 4500s Electrical: Singer "390" and JY Power My Official Feedback Thread
