power wire close to exhaust?

im going to wire up my XSd3400 up front with my D3100 in parallel in the rear but i want to run it under the truck but on the passanger side where i was goin to run it is pretty close to my exhaust

i can run it and it wont be touching the exhaust but it will be near it

if i wire loom it or something would it be ok or should i not risk it?? i dont want my wire melting on me lol

im not 100% sure but i would guess that 3"-4" of clearance should keep you in the clear.

best bet would be to run it thought the fire wall to keep it from being exposed to the elements. I have seen a threat though where people used PVC under the car and ran the cable through that to protect it. May be something to look into. Not too sure though, i have never ran cable under the car/truck

zip tie it too your heater hoses then pull it close to the inner fender well then i run it on top of my frame theres enough room for 3 0gs, i went back past the catilytic convertor the crossed back over to the inside about where your rear doors will be then came up behind my rear passenger seat
