__d_a_v_i_d__
so after so much drama n trading/selling. i finally have a decent pair, 12's. 9500. my amp sucks! (gonna give it to my older bro) so i was wondering has anybody had any experience with these subs? are they underrated and love more power? or just stay to specs with 1k rms each?. still deciding on amp, when i get my financial aid money. more power? this is a DAILY i mean i commute to schoo almost everyday and i get bored and bump on the freeway. these are heavy fuckers. dohckiller808
ive built a ton of systems with the 9500s. 1500 each is just right. ive never tried blowing them because their too expensive and cant be reconed.
dohckiller808
i take it back... weve hooked up the 15 9500 to a 240volt line... it took it for about 30 secs before it fried and took out our buildings main fuse.

You can't compare like that. I'm sure you will be loud enough with 2000-2500 watts rms. black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 amp with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. cubs_fan0718
Put rms or a little more to each of them and call it a day. they sound good and pound. A good friend of mine has had a couple of the 95 10's and i was very suprised at what they could do. EDIT if you got the d4 models, just get an amp that can do 2000 or 2500w @ 1 ohm 06 Impala SSKenwood Excelon DDX593 Ampere Audio 150.4 Ampere Audio 5K1 XS D4700 (front)Mechman 320a Alt. w/ Big 3 Lots of Second Skin Damplifier Under Construction for 2017

cjvue
A friend of mine has one. He uses MTX 15001d at 2ohm for daily. I did all the install. Take it like a champ. It's been 5 years and still sound clean. I recalled years ago people using 1800rms for daily and got stinky. I would recommend 1500rms at most for each.
