Chris really made up my mind. Does anyone agree or disagree with him? Is anyone else running PSI?

I don't like anything i have heard from PSI. The ones i heard the guy said he paid like 300 for each 12 he had and they were in a bandpass ported into the cabin and they sounded like crap.

Thats the only experience i have though maybe the 12 year vet doesn't know how to build a system.

Bandpass are hard to make sound good, a lot of trail and error, so it's probably not the subs fault but more of the user fault that they sound like crap.

Thanks for the clarification. I didnt know that. All ive heard in person and built is sealed and ported

I've only played with an 18" American Bass HD with a PSI recone (think i bought from 97maxima). It looked well built and sounded great. The soft parts haven't failed to this day on 3k from an AP30001 and i don't think it was intentionally built to handle that much power. And its installed in a supernubes car so you can imagine the abuse its taking. I say if their cheaper, buy them. I bet it'll handle the power they promise. I'm addicted to custom built subs now, I would go to forevrbumpn or ssacket over PSI any day though.

I like how big of a company PSI us though. They probably offer a pretty good warranty (haven't checked yet.) They're around the same price as the AA Havocs I was looking at. They're a little more.

One year warranty they built a t2 for me i just got it in today ill post some pics tomorow if you want to see it looks good but i havent tested it yet.

Thanks for the info on the warranty. I wanna see pics..lol. By T2, do you mean they modified the Rockford sub or built a platform 2 sub?

It's the 2009 rockford i had a busted one at the shop and decided to see what they could do they said it's rated at 2500 watts rms and 3.5-4.0 cubes it's in the rockford basket with the rockford magnet but different parts and different face.
