hooked up battery in trunk.. idle voltage 13.2

volt meter is hooked up to the amp so the amp is seing 13.2 at idle, is this good ?

Did you make sure your battery is charged before installing? That's too low..

what year is your vehicle? alot of newer cars/trucks have like no charging effects @ low rpm speeds, and or low demand needs. I had a 2010 surburban to drive for a few days, and sitting in my driveway, it was only 12.8v, but put all accessories on like AC/lights/rear ac, etc... bam!.......14.1v

well I installed a stinger volt meter and didn't use a dmm. didn't know it needed to be adjusted so that number is before I took a dmm to it, gonna buy a dmm on my way home from college today and see what's up

you must calibrate it, there never accurate out of the box. Hell, mine was nearly 1v off on the low side.
