Put the dmm on each coil separately and tell us what it reads

each coil on both subs read 1.2 perfectly

he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:

Then they are probably .8-.9 each which is perfectly fine. Your dmm leads probably have their own resistance of .3-.5 cause it to read a little higher. You have dual 1 ohm subs. Just technically .8.

If you want to know for sure with your meter on the same ohm setting touch the leads together to find the resistance of them. Then always subtract that from reading for the real number.
