I want to move up to a 12" fi btl running off at least audioque 2200d but i would like to put it on 3000 watts so what amps would u reccomend thats 3000 watts at 1 ohm i would like a sundown 3000 but do they make them anymore? i need advice on if i can leave my 110 amp stock alt or upgrade or just add batterys, etc. Setup: Headunit: 7" indash screen Sub: fi bl 12 Amp: Audioque 1200D Box Ported tuned to 34hz Big 3 done in 1/0 gauge

Team_DC-Derrick Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 I would upgrade the alt, just because I am not a fan of voltage drop, and im one of the kings of voltage drop around here *not by choice, waiting on my 2 300a alts to get here... still...* But other tards will tell you its ok to have voltage drop.. i would ignore them.. voltage drop makes your equipment work harder and and you can run the chance of ruining your stuff...
