charli3 Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 Can the emblem circle come loose on the dc subs, because im hearing a weird vibration noise from the sub like if there was a piece of plastic bouncing on the sub. Quote
kingsuv Posted October 8, 2010 Report Posted October 8, 2010 Yes Dustcaps can come loose, I would pull the sub and check that wires are not touching the back side of the come, and the spider isn't loose from the basket. I had that happen on my powerbass subs once. Quote Designing, building, and shipping boxes. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

I had a similar sound from a different brand sub and it just turned out the gasket didn't make a proper seal because one of the screws stripped out. But either way, pulling the sub out like kingsuv had mentioned will let you know whats up. . Quote formerly known as Jaylor Swift
