rasic Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 okay so i built my box and so far ive only got 1 sub back out of 2 so i drilled 1 hole and put it in, my highs sound kinda raspy. is this bad for my sub? so instead of 3 cubes its 6 since the other woofer isnt in the enclosure yet. system: changes way to much...
Guest Posted October 9, 2010 Report Posted October 9, 2010 highs for what...the speakers or the subwoofer? i sure as hell hope "highs" defines like 60-70hz and not hearing voices through them. oh and just dont play it loud...larger enclosures lowers the power handling so if you want to keep the sub, lower the volume.

Like a 12 in 500 watt sub in an 8 cube box would be comparable to free air.
