Try a system restore to a previous time like yesterday or the closes one available.

Mine was doing that and instead of fucking with everything i did that and it worked. Just a idea.

If you have a virus, restoring it to a previous save point will only corrupt those files as well. I have sick nasty firewalls and on access scanning watching all open ports etc... any other suggestions?

LOL. if you got good ANTIVIRUS, and run things like ad-aware, and thinks like this still happen. your RAM could have bad sectors.

Can you burn a disc and do you know how to boot into a live disk (like installing windows in the old days or using a linux live disk) ??
