T2500-1bdCP & 6 RE Audio SEX 12's D4

Subs are rated for 600 rms.

Amp is rated at 2500 rms.

Wire each sub in series for a 8 ohm load. Parallel all 6 subs for a 1.6X ohm load.

Does this sound like a good balance between amplifier and subs?

How many batteries and what size alternator do I need to feed this amp along with another 50 amps of avaliable power?

You want to wire the subs like so. Parallel each sub to it's self. Each sub is now 2ohm. Series every two subs together and you have three 4ohm loads. Now parallel each set to the amp and you have a 1ohm nominal load. What you listed sounded ok. Just a little short on power for the subs since all together would be rated 3,600rms and you won't see over 3k out of the amp I don't believe.

I'd get six Dual 2ohm subs wire each pair in series to achieve 3 2ohm loads and then wire them in parallel for a .67ohm load... Your gonna have a butt load of rise so should be fine... Even being a bdCP amp with that many woofers your most likely still gonna have too much rise for the CP to make up for.

Box Rise was my next question. I know the best way to answer it would be to clamp it to see what kind of voltage and amperage the subs are pulling. But for now is there any way to estimate what type of rise I could see?

Yup. Easiest way to figure rise on a daily is to take your nominal ohm load and stick to that being your ohm load. not being a dick but I've learned my lesson now from people on here that for any daily use system rise isn't a thing you should concentrate on.

Agreed on the 1.33 load. When I did the math I figured it for 5 subs instead of 6

Just to help me understand than. Why is it 1.66. I thought it was just simply parallel got you......nevermind. Just figured it out. And I didn't know that about the coils needing to be series and the rest parallel.
