Guest
So my hifonics bx1605d has started going into protect every once in a while, then it wouldnt COME OUT of protect. i found absolutely nothing wrong with my wiring whatsoever and have tried pretty much every diagnose step i could think of. i take the amp out of the car last night and looked at the board...it was perfectly fine. then i proceed to hook it up straight to the battery, just remote, positive, and negative, with the amp board exposed so i could see whats going on. goes into protect like before. i reinspect it, nothing. i rehook it up one more time, POP POP POP flames and sizzling noises. i found that these 3-4 mosfets are cooked after taking the covers (or whatever they are called) off. I am going to be throwing this amp up in the FS section in the next few days so if anyones interested throw me a PM. How much did you pay for it, I could of probably let go my AQ2200 for around what you payed for the AP(170-180) Quote ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............
