01 S-10
Sorry to thread jack but I saw this and it was like a blast from the past. I had the xs 2500( paid $600.00) in the late 90's and was probably one of my favorite amps I ever had. Good luck on your search. TDH FTW !!! neuspeedescort
not a problem. i have found a handful of 6600's and 2500's on ebay and craigslist but no 2300's. may just have to have him change up. but that would mean rewrapping his enclosure and rebuilding his flush cover. him being 130 miles away its not easy. audiofanaticz
options or opinions of good places to get a repair done? NEUMAN After I been screwed over by CIA Engineering, and Amp Repair Center, The only company I will trust my products to is DB-R Electronics. http://db-r.com/ Its sad when a company only fixes what is blown to cut corners, and not replace all mosfets so they have the same tolerances and dates, otherwise you get some mosfets that have to work harder and end up blowing. Even worse the other 2 companies are shady. I know one of them use to be the certified repair shop for Stetsom, and some amps got sent in by the customer under warranty and the company never fixed the amps, or would even return them to the customer... Very bad business practices!! Nothing like losing 4 stetsom 7k amps I also know a some of these repair facilities charge a fee just for an repair quote on fixing a amp... $25+ dollars to unscrew a few screws on the back cover and look at the amp? HIGHWAY ROBBERY! DB-R however is FTW!
RMac18
Check the Phoenix Phorum, that may be your best bet. Lot's of people over there that have all kind's of phoenix gold stuff, so if you lucky someone has one to part with.
Kenny Wayne
negative please read the for sale section rules. Negative did you see a for sale sign before the post and or a price that was a response to someone looking and me making a statement. There was no implied or direct statement for being for sale ?
