Alex K
remove the amp. leave the +, -, and remote wire on. Touch the + wire and the Remote to the + on the battery, and the - to the - on the battery. If the amp doesn't turn on its fried. Quote 2006 Nissan Z Track. juggernaut405
What color wire should I splice the remote to or should I runnit to the ign fuse in fuse box Quote JUGGERNAUT DA ASSO
AMI CUSTOMS
Why remove all that to test? Just remove the remote wire from the amp, get a short piece of wire and jump it from the remote turn on the amp to the 12 v+ on the amp, it should turn on, if it does then you know the remote wire is either not connected good or shorted to ground. Simple. Alex K
Or don't listen to what I told you. You should really make sure the amp even works before you go doing all the tedious work of rewiring every little wire. It will take about 2 minutes. Quote 2006 Nissan Z Track. AMI CUSTOMS
Good point. But he still might have a bad ground or something wrong with the runs elsewhere. If it don't turn on, then check ground, if that is good, amp is fucked. Get another amp. Done!!! byers319
Amp the rf t1500 didn't see any fuses on it Where all the wires go into the amp there's a cover over them. Take that off and its where the power wire is
Boon
Sounds like you popped the fuse again. Check it with a test light or something. Is it just me or does this thread somehow feel like a car-fire waiting to happen? Quote 10.x volts fo' life!
