trunk set ups, help me, 3 or 4 12s? amp??

Recommended Posts

i want to get some ideas!!! i want to do 3 or 4 9500s since i got two slready.

but yea,if i find enough room ill do 4 12s under 2 2600bxis @ 1 ohm eachamp. yes will upgrade elect.

i mostly wanna do 3 but the lowest i can wire itup is 2.66ohms? (all dvc 4 ohms)

now post your trunk set ups!!!!! give me ideas please.!!

i went from

4 15's cvrs.

to 1 15" re mt.

to 2 12's mtx 9500s.

all under the same trunk with same cheap amp. lol.

all had something to them, the 4 15s killed the highs, MURDERED (sealedbxs)

1 RE mt loved only lows!

and the two mtx likes a lil bit of all i think is tuned around 37hz

there was this one time where a friend said that aint loud cuss it doesnt rattle, then he got in and said "damnnn"haha i need to get vids, i will have a major upgrade this is still mybudget build.

my trunk is massively expanded foamed hardly any rattle. yes its ugly but i love it

For right now anyways.

Wanting to get more power and probably some 15"s.

My lights dim with that setup LOL! I couldn't believe it.

EDIT: Also need to get some Knu 8 gauge kit, because I do not think that walmart wire is true 8 gauge.

Quality is all in how you take pictures ;) I have plenty of projects that look WAY better on camera then in person :D

crazy to fit so many in so little. Reminds me of some of the porns I've seen?

Rebel4055, damn dimming with that power? check ur ground and add a batt in da back?

tmdemolition, been looking at that sexy built!!! professional as hell bro!!im waiting for you to get your recones so you can show full potential on those amps to put the full 2.5k on each sub!!!

frito, i have look. but i mostly posted this so ya can tell me about my set up...

i also thinking about putting a cresendo 3K on these subs. but scare of over powering and dont think it would be as loud as 3 or 4subs under idk what amp yet.

wanna see some trunks with that impossible fit of 4 12s in a right cube box or something like that, along the lines of 3-5 12s that would really help me out

*snip*

I need clean the grounding area down better and that will probably solve it but it's not THAT big of a dim just a little bit. Just enough to notice.

And for cmam ain't that the truth LOL

Lulz. But most expensive? You must be searching the wrong streets! Lol. And to the OP. Why not get two 12s that can handle a lot more power? Or if you have the space two 15s that could handle more power?

well then i would personally just work with the 2 12s. subs up like that with that tiny port wont get too loud.

my 12s in a trunk when i had them

You might be able to fit 3 12s depending on how wide your trunk is.

you could wire it to .66 to the crescendo amp and it would work.
