pstone11 Posted October 21, 2010 Report Share Posted October 21, 2010 Well, finally got going on this build. Bit of a delay with all of the moving cross-country and getting set up here.. Going to leave the links for the original build, and v2.0 here just so you can check them out if you want to... The FWS!! The FWS v2.0! Got a few things accomplished on the new rebuild.. New camper shell for those who haven't seen it yet: Need to make this box as wide as possible to fit the 4 18's in there, so I have to build the box totally into the truck instead of in two pieces and slid in like last time.. So, I got a quick floor in then some roof support action going on: Put a MDF roof in - what a chore doing that by myself.. Made some wheelwell templates for the sides of the enclosure: Added in a little cubby hole for my batteries so they can sit between the wheelwells. After that I went ahead and put the first layer of glass over the wheelwells, added some 45's on the roof and other panels. Will continue tomorrow morning - Nice to be started though. Started laughing and couldn't get out from under it. ha sounds like me whenever i went an bought my first piece of mdf at lowes i didnt get it cut there and no one would help me in the store take it to the truck so im outside (16 years old, 120 pounds) tryn to lift this bish into a lifted f 150 hahahaha it was hell I SCAM PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY...
