Sanitarium
guessing you'll be using the AUX input.. turn the volume all the way up on the mp3 player unless you hear it distort then turn it down. it's not rocket science.

I think the op was worrying about clipping. Use a 3.5mm wire (plug one end to mp3 player and other end to oscope) and oscope it. Also, oscope the sub output. Yes I was worrying about that and I do not have access to a oscope Quote Rest In Peace mother. BanginOnABudget
if you want good audio reproduction get an old video ipod, or get a headphone amp for your signal, OR get a walkman, not the loudest, but the EQ dosent distort very much, unlike most everything else i have worked with. Edited October 23, 2010 by BanginOnABudget Quote im taking out my passenger seat, battery is disconnected, going to unwire and take out the three amps, take out the 70+ lb box, then the platform so i can crimp 1 wire. Almost as bad as those fegs that put those horns in their grills and roll down the street distorting the block.... 1990 Jeep Cherokee 2 Dr. Big-3 in 0g on Stock Alt.
