SlimDog53185
I have an audiopipe amp that has one of the speaker terminals stripped. The screw part is fine, but the part it screws into is totally stripped. Is there any way it fix this? Could I get something larger to use as the screw part? SlimDog53185
It seems to be really soft metal that would tap very easy. Even after I did that wouldn't I need a bigger screw?

Even after I did that wouldn't I need a bigger screw? not necessarily...but tapping is an iffy thing to do. you gotta feel it out. if its stripped enough, yeah youd probably need a bigger screw, and youd need to tap in a slightly larger size to fit that screw. tapping is when you can re-thread a stripped nut or screw with a unique bit. SlimDog53185
Anyone know where to get a new screw? I will need a new one after tapping. Some metal is stuck in the threads and it is almost to small now.
