DC!) and I wanted to know where I would take it to get it disassembled cause I'm afraid I might F something up and some automotive place might too :/, and where I would take it after to get Painted or Powder Coated Which ever is Best, Last Would it hurt to do the entire housing but not the fins underneath the plastic cover or could I do that as well? I'd Like Opinions, Is this process more work then its worth? whats a total cost on this entire thing, Has any one done this and Regretted it? or Loved it? Thank you guys so much, Austin! Granted they do send it to an outside source to powder coat but supposedly that company is the best around there with powder coating. Also, I wouldn't send it to anyone else because DC Power can warranty it if it's their fault after cracking the case and powder coating it. If some place else, it wouldn't be on DC Power if the case failed or whatever failed because it was tampered with by an outside source. Its up to you what you want to do though. But DC Power can get your alternator powder coated for cheaps and in ANY color style you want. I got the subaru STI electric blue for mine. Once our alternators are built you definitely dont to take them apart unless you absolutely have to. Just let me know ahead of time it's coming and what color you want to have done. Rob
