Well, I'm putting headlights in my cadillac for right now so I can drive it back and forth to school until I find another car.. well the headlights are going to cost me a bit, and then I realized I needed some side lights.. they cost more than the damn headlights. My question is, do I need these side lights? Is it illegal without them? Because they don't do anything extra, the lights on the front bumper do the same thing.

I'd be very pissed if they declined it though, because I can't afford the other lights right now. And I only got 2 weeks till I go back to school and I need to have this car legal to drive back and fourth to school.

In most states, law requires that you have functioning turn signals...

Why does it matter if you have parking lights?

I see no reason why it wouldn't be illegal... :)

the cops shouldnt mess with you they might not even know how they are suppossed to work. On my car the bottom light are purely turn signals but i made them to be parking lights as well as turn signals and have never been pulled over for it. I have been pulled over for stuff like neons etc. lol but never turn signals.
