So i decided to mount it in my glove box since its so small. I am going to disassemble it and paint most parts flat - black to help hide it in the glove box;

anthonyott99 Posted April 21, 2011 Author Report Posted April 21, 2011 OK, i did the voltage increase mod with the two 6 amp diodes and it did awesome !! So far its working great and keeping a constant 15.5 warm and 15.9-16.0 cold ! The only thing i have noticed is that it is best to let it warm up a little at night or i notice a little flicker of the lights when the voltage fluctuates at the higher end around 16 volts, the added voltage made the lights brighter but because of that you notice a little more when they dim and the voltage comes back down to 15.5. There may be some long-term problems with the increase and may have to step down to only one diode but for now its cool and the long-term testing continues !! Post some pics when i have them !!

Had a horrible storm last night and we had golf ball sized Hail and it did a number on my car !! Busted my windshield in two different places and i have at least 20 good-sized hail dents in my ride !! UUUUGGGHH !!!!! Well guess it will be a good excuse to finally repaint my car !!! Anyone have suggestions on any cool new colors out there ???? Been awhile since i did paint and body work .
