If your gain is low(matching the hu voltage, depending on hu) then it could be a bass boost setting on the hu set to high. Holy crap, I do a 153 at like 35 hz with mine, and 157 at 47 hz and 160 at 57 hz....LOL they were sd2.5's you are also probably running way more than i did with an ap3000. I had shitty equipment. IMO i would rethink your box first... why add more subs when you could possibly yield a way higher output with what you have. You had 4 aq 15's walled and only did a 147???
