That is right where that port needs to be for 4 L7's for what he is after. My money is on a setting somewhere. with that much port it is easy to do.

second box ive ever built. basically second setup ever.

subs were bottoming out.

gonna add 2 more l7s and another 3500. do a bit less cubes per subs and less port area port cube and put more power on each one.

*edit - on dash, db didnt change with window open/door open.

tuned to 30 peaked at 38 next box is gonna be tuned to 26-28

you could get a higher score if you sealed it on all the sides also

agreed. that will make more difference than anything, of course, it will make his peak note go up some too.

yea, ima do a proper wall once i get the other two in. im building the new box next weekend. gonna be doin alot of tweaking. just got torres box calculator so ive been playing with that alot. i think im gonna tune lower 26-28 so i peak lower.

i dont think you should do more subs......unless you get different ones kickers LOVE air space! and the L5's and L7's really NEED a huge box to get loud.... honestly the best sounding L7 set up i have heard was 2 in a 11.5 cubic box before displacement the subs are suppose to have at least 3 cubic ft per sub, but with those subs they only sound good with a bigger box... i would at least make it 5 cubic foot per sub

i can give them 4 cubes or so after displacement. prlly could squeeze out a bit more if necessary
