pheint_1 Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 Alright i was wondering who here uses this cable, how flexible is it, is true to awg standards? i saw that the 1/0 is rated at 300 amps @ 50 ft. but at the bottom corner it says "Distances shown are half the length of cable required. For total cable circuit length with welding lead and ground lead, double the distance shown" i kind of got confused does that mean that it is actually rated at 300 amps at 25 ft or what?? lol sorry if its a stupid question i just kind of got confused by that, probably cause its late but any ways yea, those are my questions fellas any help is greatly appreciated, thx. edit: juts checked coppercableman's ebay and mostly all the merchandise (#4,#3,#2,#1,1/0,2/0,4/0 etc.) he was selling isn't posted any more??? well hopefully he'll re post soon. It means if you are purchasing welding leads and you need 50ft. Double your purchase because you'll need 50ft of Positive and 50ft of ground. If you purchase a 50ft roll, you'll get 50ft of wire. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.
