Check this 4th order measures please!

oh this was in person or over msn i dont remember (talking to clay bout this was like 2 years ago)

and my exploder i gave up on and got rid of it to much work and wasnt worth it

the explorer was up and going but never 100% only had 2 of the 4 amps installed

and never metered it with bandpass but it was louder then flat wall for sure (flat wall loudest 154 + change )

yeah, Bandpassses are way more efficient than flat walls, i suggested my friend a flat wall because that piece of junk trunk car it´s a pain in the ass to work , but, he wants something different so he´ll get it hehe

Id do closer to 11 - 14 square inches per ported cube.

Edit: the 2500s are ass backwards as well. I hear they like more sealed chamber then ported in 4th orders.

I wouldn't glue the baffles in until you got through testing everything and getting the ported and sealed chambers to where you want them.

Hey D, that small hommie? my 2512´s seems to love 17 SQ of port per cubic feet, that´s why i was thinking on building bigger for the 2515´s BP and start shrinking, why so small? you had better luck with smaller port area on your 4th order?

In my experience, and from a few

bandpass gurus 11 - 14 square per cube is golden for 4th orders.

6th orders, 4 - 8 per cube for the rear and 18 - 22 on the front port.

Just my opinion though.

Like I said earlier. Tuning and testing is the key with bandpasses!!!! Good luck bro.

(but i dont know what the 2500 series likes) but stay away from 11^2" port

nice input as always man, well i have many options actually, it´s gonna be two ports also so that would make everything easier for testing too, ok i´ll start around 16 or 17 SQ per cubic feet and shrink it from there, also, i always wanted to know about 6th orders port areas, so you helped a lot hehe, cheers!!

yeah man, this is not for my explorer, it´s for my friend´s nissan almera, i measured everything and he does have the space for a very nice 4th order, but is not gonna be any easy working on this car.
