ptcary
What is the difference between a D975 and D1200? I have a 2010 Mazda 3i and it will never be over 1k RMS for stereo, but may have a few other mods, and I would like to replace the stock battery for an AGM battery. I think the factory Mazda battery is 40 AH, if that matters, I don't know what the CCA or CA of the stock battery is. Would there really be any advantage for me to get the 1200 over the 975? CJ18
The 975 will give you 1000w of power handling as your main battery and the 1200 will give you 1500w of power handling. 925----525CA 35Ah Max Amps 2100A 1200---725CA 44Ah Max Amps 2600A Personally I would go with the 1200. Nathan @ XSpower
Are you just trying to cut some weight by going with a smaller battery? Your stock battery should be a group 35 battery, and the D5100R would be the replacement for that battery. If you are trying to cut weight and go with a smaller battery, then I would suggest the S1200. The big difference between the 975 and the 1200 is the the 1200 will have more capacity and provide you with more power than the 975.
