That fuse is to protect the wire and if there is no fuse you will have a fire on your hands. Now for the amp can you take a small jumper wire from the remote to the power on the amp and see if it clicks on. That other .1 percent is people who think they know what they are doing but don't. That other .1 percent is people who think they know what they are doing but don't. ill have to find a jumper, but we were going to put a fuse but he didnt have one and we live in hawaii so its pretty hard to get ahold of things unless you order them and doing that still takes a month to get. im going to check all the connections tonight and see if there all good and work on getting a fuse ordered. Report back! alright thanks man for the help! i just gave the guy that help me set it up a new wiring kit that i ordered but it got here after the install so whenever he gets back ill probably take one of the fuses from it or use the new wire to power the amp. ill let you know how it goes. haoleslaya Posted November 22, 2010 Author Report Share Posted November 22, 2010 alright guys, i went and found a 8 guage wiring kit, the recommended size for the amp. i redid the power cable, the ground cable and the remote and rca cables. the power has a fuse in it now and everything is running super smoothly. thanks for all the help, appreciate it!
