ok screwed up my computer again

Everything starts fine.

but as i use it multiple things start to happen

one

this happens periodically, when i google something and click on the link given it redirects me to some website completely different. example i type in lil wayne im on it. i click a link and it takes me here.

im getting pop ups while im on firfox..which used to never happen.

my tab bar and everything changed to look like this...like windows 98 style. just for a second though...then it goes back to normal xp settings

..another virus? download malwarebytes and run it again. if that doesn't work system restore it back to a date you can remember before all this started happening

time for a reformat! or a simple virus / malware / spyware scan! sounds like some malware redirecting your webpages and displaying ads.

you suck at computers lol. it has been about two weeks since your last thread about you screwing up your laptop.

also stop cussing in the thread title.

you should get spybot if you dont have it, and glary utilities both of these are good free programs, of course these alone wont do everything, but its a start, if you hae va good security program this would never happen, so what programs do you have on your computer, if you cant afford there are plenty of free ones that are very good, and of course you can always download

i used to use zone alarm extreme security which is very good and has a built in toolbar for your browser that virtualizes everything to makes sure it wont affect your computer, i may still have my license for it, but dont know

also, do you use noscript, adblock, flashblock with firefox, they are all good

i have an on demand security program i could probably email you, it needs no install, i keep it on a portable harddrive in case a friend needs help, pm me if you want to try it

well sent you an email with a variety of tools and instructions, hopefully this works for you, these are about half the tools i use when people have virus issues, so should work out

The redirection of web pages might be your host files. Might wanna get those checked
