Making a box

Recommended Posts

If someone could help me design a box for 2 18" fi btl's it would be greatly appreciated. I just ordered them up today and id like to get the box done before they come in. I trashed my old 12" type r's. i would like this new box tuned to 32 hz

Here are the maximum dimensions of my trunk

43" long 29.5" wide 23" high. < Might have mixed up legnth and width lol

Its a pretty big trunk going in my 2007 crownvic police interceptor. I layed down 3 layers of dynamat a few days ago should sound good

Also i was thinking of having the 18's firing upwards, but i have no idea what i should do as far as port what direction ect. Thankyou!

heres a pic of my trunk atm, maybe so you can visualize where the ports should be facing ect

I'd say either subs back port back, subs back port up through rear deck, or sealed off subs and port forward

Current Systems:

2011 BMW 335i

Hertz HDP1

DC LVL3 12" Full Carbon Fiber

2002 Acura Tl
Kenwood DNX9980HD
2 DCLVL4 12" Subs with LVL5 Parts D.7 Coils
DC 3.5k
Hertz HSK-165 up front HCX-165 Rear
Hertz HDP4 Amp
DC Power Engineering 260 Amp Alt
Big 3 and amp powered with KNU 1/0
XS Power D2400 Up Front

i pulled out my dick in class many of times and had it shown. get over it bitch...stupid open legged hairy beavered bitch...

going over rms = smaller box, under rms = bigger box...

Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth.

A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?

then back back would be best i think, easiest to design too but i wouldnt want subs hitting the wall with their excursion haha. do btls sound good at 32?
