Guest Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 i also wanted to know about the settings on the amp, when i put this box in.. right now i believe all the settings are all the way up, i control the bass from the knob.. how do i go about setting the amp so i dont blow the subs? uhhhh thats not good. dont even connect a woofer to that amp if the settings are like that. take a CLEAR picture of the settings and post it up here

Guest Posted December 4, 2010 Report Posted December 4, 2010 oh lawdy lawdy lawd. put the x-over between the 2nd and 3rd notch. bassboost to 0. and set gain with a digital multi meter. find the gain tuning thread in the electrical section (or amplifier section i forget). then you wont be dropping into the 10's anymore and you wont blow the fuck out of that amp and you wont come to us whining why it did it.
