What kinda batts? You shouldn't need 3 batteries for 1200w.

Edited by EricR

i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

LOL! Smart ass! been a long day... cut me some slack! LOL!

Lol. I'm done for now.

OP, check the resting voltage of your batteries when the car has been off for hours. Maybe they can't hold a charge

Check your grounds like hdorre said. And while you're at it you might as well check all the other wires and make sure everything is hooked up right.

bad ground?

That's the first thing I thought of too, but the OP said they were perfect.

Either one of ur subs burn partial of its coil and is not reading the 4 ohms, that can cause the final to change to lower then a 2 ohm putting it on protect.

or check voltage on rear batt, might need a recharge. after months of playing, the altcant fully recharge them all. or even amp pooped.

lot of possibilities.

ddmm ur subs ohms bro.

check all your terminals, if you crimped them, solder them, i crimped mine, and that might have been the problem to my voltage bugging out like it was, also check your big 3 or big 6, i did that wrong when i did it for the first time, and it gave me some wacky voltage after awile, make sure your terminals are tight and on batterys, make sure your connects on your fuses are good, and make sure your grounds on there good, all of these have been my voltage problems so far lol, simple yet costly mistakes

Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k!

Why would you EVER WANT flex?
huh?...flex is what can make the lows lower and more air being pushed correct?

I had what sounds like the exact same problem...my fuse was shorting out. Took me so long to figure it out that on the side of the fust that runs to my amp you could see little sparks at the fuse. That's the only way I figured out it was the fuse. Shit would play for a couple of seconds at high volume then amp would cut off...and flicker on and off. :pardon:
