XL 15 in 3cuft ported

How will a XL 15 do in 3cuft of airspace on 1500 watts?

How much more? 1500 is rated rms. What about 1800?

I have my 12 in 2.3 cubes with 1500 and putting 2000 on it this weekend. I would do 4 cubes with that power and even more power still 4 cubes with 15-20^2 of port per cube. JMO..

I was always told the bigger the box the less power you can put safely and the smaller the box the more power you could put safely

That's only true to an extent and how much "extra" power you are using. 3-5cubes does good for most 15s. Like my 12. DC says 1.5 cubes but I have .8 more then that and it does excellent in it.

That's only true to an extent and how much "extra" power you are using. 3-5cubes does good for most 15s. Like my 12. DC says 1.5 cubes but I have .8 more then that and it does excellent in it.
