If your looking at the ones on caraudiodeals i would pass it up and get one of the audiopipe 3k's on ebay to be safe, nothing against the amp itself but rather the vendor selling it.

They do rated @ 14.4v I had my AP1500.1 clamped @ 1450 @ 13.5v and it was steady with no clipping. I'd say they can even do more than rated @ 16v or better. People also claim they have high THD which they don't, mine pounds just as good as my old T1000.1BD that I replaced it with, personally best bang for your buck amplifiers next to Sound Digital. I would HIGHLY recommend them and also buy if off ebay, but be warned the AP3000.1D is two 1500.1's strapped so your ohm loads will be different.
