and no the 90 wouldnt work.... we removed my hose and it was still hitting the plastic nipple that the hose goes on??? im clueless?? like i said id love to do the quads

i was running dual mechman 270s charging six XS D3100s powering three RF T4000s, a T800.4 and a T600.4 with minimal drops below 14v at full tilt for extended periods. no longer isolated the charging systems, and am now using triple mechman 270s charging an XS S1200 under the hood, same six XS D3100s powering same amps with voltage sitting at 14.5 at full tilt no matter how long i slam on the system. im running close to 15,000 watts with 0 issues dual or triple setup. i upgraded the triple because i plan on adding some more power...

Ha ha ha, stop taking the fun out of it. Lol, I'm planning on upgrading now the three T4000s for three AQ3500s....wall off with three 15" Mayhems...then add three more....ha ha ha. Cats out now.

But to the topic...you are more than fine with triple alt setup. You're going to need batteries anyways. How much room do you have?

You know GM did switch all of the full size truck/suv's in 04-05 to the larger 15 inch rotors and bigger calipers, mine is 14 inch rotor, I guess they increased the size of the brake master as well.

ok so i need some opinons...

im not wanting to load up on batteries simply bc the only place its looking like i can fit them is 2 up front under the hood, and maybe 4 in the back under the amp rack or under the truck behind the bumper??? all XS D3100's

but im looking into T.C. triple bracket and 3 of mechman's SMD spec alts.. 320a+

im looking into how i can just change that output hose on my resivor on the brake booster, and then run a quad setup with 3- 320a, and 1 250a all running on my MLA i still have my quad mla from my last attempt at quads....

but would 4 or 5 d3100 and 3 300A+ alts be sufficiant???

for my ampperage im pulling?

I would honestly use 10 or 11 D3100s if you rev your RPM up to 2000 when you play at full tilt. 5 would work, but expect a significant amount of voltage drop.

Well I can tell you that my two 3500's with my quad kit, 3(240) and (1)220 at idle if I play it at full tilt and really pull on the amps, I can get the voltage to drop to 12.8 for like a sec, but if I put my foot on the gas pedal and raise the rpms up to just 1000, no drop ever. And that is without my VCM, if I hook it my VCM it still drops, but for even a shorter amount of time. I am only running 2 3100's and a 3400 underhood.

I took a picture of my sister in laws 2006 pickup, and her master cylinder sits back plenty far enough that you would have the room no problem, so maybe get a master out of a pickup? Her truck is a 2006 silverado extended cab 2wd with 4.8 base model. SO not sure where this change over is, but her master cylinder has a different fill tank on top too. I can load a pic up later if you need it when I get back to the computer. Just let me know.
