jmitch
that should be sufficient enough with 6-9 big batteries. Quote I know a lil about everything so dont call me Mr. Know it All.
AMI CUSTOMS
If you were having issues with the iraggi one then changes are you will need a custom bracket made and I would put as many alts under the hood as you can fit if you plan on daily 3 of those aq3500's, I have two and a quad kit and don't have any voltage problems. But you could just get more batts to offset the amps, those three amps will pull at full tilt 380x3 so 1140, I would say you need at least half that in alt and then a hand full of batts or more alt and less batts. Your choice. ahoz28
I had the same thing happen in my O4 yukon. DC quad alt bracket wouldnt fit. Do you have pics of where it hits? Mine hit a rubber hose that came out of the front of the booster. Edited November 25, 2010 by ahoz28

TeamHT
i was running dual mechman 270s charging six XS D3100s powering three RF T4000s, a T800.4 and a T600.4 with minimal drops below 14v at full tilt for extended periods. no longer isolated the charging systems, and am now using triple mechman 270s charging an XS S1200 under the hood, same six XS D3100s powering same amps with voltage sitting at 14.5 at full tilt no matter how long i slam on the system. im running close to 15,000 watts with 0 issues dual or triple setup. i upgraded the triple because i plan on adding some more power... Mine hit a rubber hose that came out of the front of the booster. And couldn't you just put a 90 degree fitting on that hose to move it out of the way, would that give you enough clearance?
