Aside from a problem with one sub (or coil, wire, etc...) stopping all of your subs from playing (which may be a good thing) I thought I read somewhere that something, other than impedance, changed depending on whether the coils were in a series vs parallel. Or maybe it affected the amp. I know series coils and parallel subs is easier to wire than the other way around. I'm probably just crazy and read one thing and thought it said something else though.

As a side note, I do realize the load on the amp is the same either way.
