99GPGTX Posted December 3, 2010 Author Report Share Posted December 3, 2010 ..so this is what just happened..i bought a 2tb external to move all my shit from my comp to the external then wipe the hdd and instal 7...butttttt yesterday i was taking notes in class and i got some restart error thing...so i restart, i get the load screen (where you get the option for F2 and F12) then i get a blinking tab with a black screen. hit f2 and get no boot menu. f8 to get to safe mode and nothing...took it to "Tech Time" on campus and they had no clue what was up.. so we took the HD and plugged it into one of their comps via some cable...we could open it up and look at the files...so we put it back in and try some shit and nothing happened..so we hooked up my old hard drive and it worked fine... so we hooked up the new hard drive to my comp and opened it up that way and i got some of my files off it to my old hd... gunna have to wait til the new external comes in to transfer all the shit from my internal hd to my external then gunna wipe the internal and load up windows 7. and copy the external to the internal haah soo needless to say its a bitch...and they didnt know what was wrong with it... XP fail. nCOMP1337 Posted December 4, 2010 Report Share Posted December 4, 2010 lol, it sucks when a computer place doesnt know whats up with your computer, luckily i have some knowledge with them so i can fix majority of my mistakes, but thats weird, lol i had a similar problem with an HD but in was cause my HD died, like it had 3% life left in it, computer wouldnt even recognize it was installed, but i found a program that lets me UNdelete data from harddrives and it recognized the HD and got all my files for me Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And how would you get a laptop that came anywhere near that? I'm more baffled by that statement than anything. Having 5 hard drives isn't really going to make your machine any more powerful, just a bit more expensive. wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 .
