skittlesRgood Posted November 29, 2010 Report Posted November 29, 2010 3 foot rule is mostly bullshit. its all about resistance. if you use a big enough wire then it wont matter. the best ground is a negative run from front battery to back. and yes, grounding amps to the battery is a good thing. quickest complete circuit. Grounding to a second battery is just fine as long as the battery itself has a big enough ground wire to the chassis itself. casemods Posted December 7, 2010 Report Posted December 7, 2010 So just get the biggest wire that will fit in the amp for ground as short as possible to the frame/chassis or ran to the battery? Is there a way to test for a good ground? Right now I have my ground under the seat to the body...wondering it it's good or not i suck men dry...email me for details
