We don't want you here. I've lived here for 44 years, I'm raising my kids here and I don't plan on leaving here. What form of Govt would you rather have? I don't like the politicians either, that is why we have the right to vote. Keep hoping for what you are hoping for and maybe some day you won't have that right. You think socialism would be better? Move up north. And if you don't like the way it is here, go try to live somewhere else and see if you like it better there. Maybe Venezuela would be your cup of tea? Maybe that was sort of a blanket statement, but it was more directed at those trying to undermine our country while enjoying the benefits of living in this country. There are avenues other than anarchy to change things. What is happening right now will not change anything for the better. IH8PunkRok Posted December 9, 2010 Report Share Posted December 9, 2010 i cant run for politician. i am not able to talk in the run around way they do lol now you made my point valid by saying you wrote in paris hilton. in essence all you did was throw your vote away. it did not hurt the main candidates, save for the one less vote. you see its all based on psychology, people are more likely to say something when they dont have to say it themselves. also it has to deal with people having the same answer. point 1 being people are more apt to hit a button and choose someone they dont like than to type in a name (or write in if people still do that). its bad but it is true, humans are lazy. point number 2, majority rules. with the write in option there is a huge range of things to write in. meaning all the votes in this category serve no purpose unless someone else wrote the same thing. now since you wrote paris hilton you did nothing to prevent the main candidates from victory. if there were a "no one" option then it would make people more willing to choose that and it would unite everyone who thinks the main candidates are not up to the challenge. Manning stealing those documents and all these DDOS attacks are breaking the law, they are being done to help out your Wikileaks people. If anything changes from this, you can be pretty sure it won't be for the better. Obviously I'm not going to change your mind and you are not going to change my mind. I guess we have to agree to disagree, I'm going back to using SMD as a Car Audio site.
