bigaltexas
is this thing worth anything? and do you reckon it could put out close to rms? http://www.audiosavings.com/products/Mono-Car-Amplifier/MA-AUDIO-HK4000D-4000w-RMS-MONO-CAR-AMPLIFIERAMP-KIT/HK4000D---XK0B1.aspx thanks. sqsux
I used to have one and I recall someone saying around 3k on a 16volt system. I put it on some cheap audiobahn 12, didn't get very loud or seem to power it very well, also shuts off at around 11volts. edit: I sure wouldn't spend 500+ on one, I'd rather have an aq3500 for 200ish more. Start out boxy, shape as you move along. Dc Audio Team Fur
Guest
from what i remember, it only does 4000rms at like 18v or something like that. and that its also super power hungry.
THEKINGsBACK
is this thing worth anything? and do you reckon it could put out close to rms? http://www.audiosavings.com/products/Mono-Car-Amplifier/MA-AUDIO-HK4000D-4000w-RMS-MONO-CAR-AMPLIFIERAMP-KIT/HK4000D---XK0B1.aspx thanks. if you looking for the full 4000 watts says it has to be done with a 17 volt set up,according to the site.. and i looked up a few reviews and its not that highly suggested? he wouldnt be the first to say they did a 167 with a system like that (one that clearly DOESNT), but i have to say, he didnt beat me anywhere, ive never competed against the guy. If he thinks his does a 167, mine would probably put him in a coma. :hairtrick:
97SSBlazer
I had the "4400" 2 channel. Thing was junk. heres a pic, I added the lights. lower tuning is just hard. I was surprised how loud 145 sounds at 35hz, and how quiet 145 sounds at 50hz. -= 2005 Tahoe LT =-Head unit: Pioneer AVH-X5500BHSSource: iPad Mini in dash Subs: 2 T1 12's Sub Amp: T1500-1bdCPWire: Rockford Fosgate 1/0 awgSignal Cable: MonsterFronts:Stock Bose for now:)Rears: Stock Bose for now:)MIds/High amp: Stock Bose for now:) 2005 Tahoe Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/172529-2005-tahoe-my-17th-vehicle/ 2001 Monte Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/160030-2001-monte-carlo-my-16th-car-lol/page-2#entry25309381997 Tahoe Build Log: http://www.stevemead...oe-6-15-rf-15s/2001 Impala Build Log: http://www.stevemead...katzkin-inside/
